We are in the process of auctioning this painting of mine benefiting the INNER CITY SHAKESPEARE ENSEMBLE.
My friend Katy Haber is a tireless champion of the arts and artists. Her special love is bringing art and its magic to children.
Her support of the Inner City Shakespeare Ensemble and their production of A MidSummer Night’s Dream, directed by Dr. Melanie Andrews, featuring young LAUSD talent this Spring, was and is deeply moving for me. I attended their performance in Grand Park and it was wonderful. With incredible production and costumes by Emmy winning Birgit Muller. This was and is living theatre. Please help Katy and The Inner City Shakespeare Ensemble continue their important work.
She asked me to do a painting that would serve as the poster for these performances. Now we are donating the proceeds from the sale of that painting to the Inner City Shakespeare Ensemble. 100%.
The final auction takes place at the Four Seasons Westlake Village at the BABC World Cup Viewing Party from 2-.4.30 pm this Saturday June 14th. The painting is currently on view at The Christopher Guy Showroom at 8900 Beverly Blvd. in West Hollywood. Bidding currently stands at $1500. Increasing in increments of $250.00
